let me introduce you to a pure kampung sundanese restaurant that I found super facinating!

Nasi Pancakan

I have never felt so lost in a restaurant before this... honestly!

this is how the food was served...

it's basically a self-service "warung" as I like to call it as you can take as much rice as you want with the same price... and you can take whichever dish you want and then head over to the cook if you want it to be heated or recooked...

they have the super typical sundanese dishes... from "gurame goreng" to the many vaerities of "pepes tahu"... and they also had a lot and i mean alot of things that can be fried... =_= that doesn't make sense... but its hard to explain!

and remind me to eat there when my money is running low because they are so so so cheap! I was there with my sister and her boyfriend and we only spent Rp 50,000 which is equivelant to RM 18-/+... we had like 3 chicken, 2 portion of fried squid, fried fish, "tempe", "tahu", "pepes tahu" and the "lauk".... cheap, no?

lets move on to another thing that facinates me!

funky shaped cotton candy!

look at the many different shape they can make!!!! so facinating!!!

and the other thing that facinates me even more is the so very "jadul"/ oldie cotton candy maker that they used!

the ones where they have to keep on spinning and spinning to make the sugar turn into cotton-like texture... :D
