Catching up!

Hello! I know right. My plan to blog in Shanghai totally went out the window :P

well to my defense, China blocked blogger for god knows what reason. And not to mention Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and a lot more site which I'm not interested in. I swear, it really sucked to not be able to see my facebook or tweet and everything there. The only thing that I could use without any problem is my MSN messenger and thankfully Skype! ok lets not rant about that anymore, since after a few days of being there, Gaby told me to buy a VPN which didn't work as well, and then finally found the monash VPN which was free for us to use :D so that fixed everything! back to the story.

To be honest, I have no idea why I was so scared to go there as I ended up having so much fun studying there and making new friends. Of course the shopping was good too... no, good is such an understatement! more like GREAT! and food there are absolutely to die for (I refuse to believe they make meat out of rats and stuff) and also CHEAP! I really don't know where to start writing about the my Shanghai trip as there's so much to tell! I don't think I need to include pictures on this blog entry because everything is already up on facebook. Thats probably why I don't blog as much anymore! usually I like to blog and share pictures. but now that the pictures are always up so much sooner than my mood to blog, it really defeats the purpose. So if I do continue to blog, I shall hide my pictures first, and only put it on facebook when I have posted a blogpost about it! Hehe! Who am I kidding? I can't be bothered anymore :p see, now my topic have sidetracked from Shanghai to just blogging. Maybe I shall blog about Shanghai and other trips after that another day.

Now moving on another catching up topic. Well, uni have started.... 6 weeks ago! time flies like crazy this time around. it's already going to be mid-sem break and soon enough, I will be graduating (hopefully)! Doesn't that sound scary!!!?!!? What am I going to do with my life!!!? I ask that every time we talk about graduating. It's so scary to even think of what I planned to do in the future. I mean, I know what I want to do, and what I want to be doing, but I just don't know how to get there just yet. I don't know how to jumpstart myself to do whatever I want to do. It's ok, I shall figure that out in the near future, now I shall just focus on graduating. I really should buckle up and start studying soon! and also, starting assignment which are due.... soon-ish.

mmm... nothing I want to rant anymore, I guess I will have more time to blog since D have started working and I can't see him as often as before :( but yeeeeh, maybe dollhouse avenue and assignment will keep me busy...

Abracadabra Fantasy!

I know I don't really use make-up everyday, but I just LOVE buying them.

especially the special editions one.

MAC always have uber cute collections every now and then, and I'd end up spending on things that I have not even touched.

I don't really notice Shu Uemura's special collection up till now. I'm not a big fan of Shu Uemura make up because I always feel that MAC has more variety with lower price. I however am a fan of their skin products such as the daily regimes such as their cleanser, toner, moisturizer, sunblock etc. and God only know how much I adore their eye-lash curler!

So, today my errands include Shu Uemura. I finally have the time take a look at the Abracadabra Fantasy Collection which features Aya Takano.

I've seen the picture a couple time in KLCC yesterday, but my dad was rushing me here and there, so I just thought, I'd come back another time. Their packaging for the collection is so... CUTE beyond words. I didn't really wanted to buy the products though, as again, not a fan of their make-up line. But when I was going to pay for my sister's stuff, the woman tell me to get another thing so I can use her rm20 cash voucher, so I just looked around and asked how much was the palette. The sales lady told me that it was RM180(something) but apparently I was eligible for a 50% off, so it was RM90(something).

The palette basically covers your whole face. with eyeshadows, eyeliner, blusher and brightener. I sure can't wait to give it a try!

I might go back and buy the sparkly paint crayon (eyeliner)....

well, I am done with my finals (finally)

but I am not quite free from uni yet as my MPI group still have a presentation to get ready for this Friday. and tomorrow is the trial run.

I am halfway done packing for Shanghai, might repack to make some room for shopping although papatjong and daryl's brother said everything there is more expensive. :( its ok. my hopes are not dead yet until I actually see it for myself.

other than that, I just don't feel like doing anything as I still feel exhausted from the exam.

please someone remind me that I still have to buy a lot of things for Shanghai. oh that reminds me to the ugly ass long johns I bought yesterday. They better keep me warm to balance off the being ugly part and also the price!

New accessories for me iPad :)

I know I should not be doing this now. really I should be reading on my marketing law instead of blogging. but I'm going out in around 30mins time and it would be so "potong" if I were to start studying now and leave just when I'm starting to concentrate (creating excuse for myself ^.^).

Anyway, today I decided to go to uni to study little while waiting for Daryl to be done with his presentation. We were supposed to go to pyramid for tutti frutti session but ended up having pepper lunch and too full for anything else :( So as we were walking back to the parking lot, we were wondering why there were so many apple products on display. So apparently, the event is called Discoveryweek and it has been on for a few days now. This shows how much I haven't been out! But basically, it is an event held by Machine in order to promote all apple products. I didn't think I was going to buy anything from there but this particular brand caught my attention. OZAKI. Have you heard of it before? seriously, I have never seen it before this. Their iPad covers are sooooo cool! they called it iCoat and I got one with wooden design. And I finally found the touch pen for my iPad under the same brand too.

I would say the price is ok for the design. but I bet you can get it cheaper oversea. :( everything seems to be cheaper oversea due to the tax right? but yea. I didn't really need to change my iPad cover. If I didn't see the iCoat, I would probably be fine with my old iPad cover which is the actually official iPad cover from apple. The only thing that I didn't like was how everytime after i put powder and I grab my iPad, I will always leave white fingerstamp on the cover which is quite annoying to clean.

Little that I know it may not even be releashed according to Gadgettrooper... so... I WILL JUST WAIT FOR THE NEXT IPHONE! which according to my friend will be releashed early next year. I hope they have cute covers for that too!

unable to contain excitment

Shanghai. Gold Coast. Bandung. and possibly Bali.
It is safe to say that I will not be available until the 10th of February.

I'm so excited!

firstly, I will be going to Shanghai for 3 weeks under the Chinese Incountry Program with monash. yes, I will be learning mandarin, from the very basic. To be honest, I feel a little bit scared at the same time excited. It will be my first time being out of the country for that long alone and actually living the independent oversea student life. It didn't take much to actually convince my dad to let me go for the program although he did offer to send my mum along with me. I REFUSED. For the first time in my life, I want to try doing things on my own and not having anyone watch over me. I can't wait to wear coats, boots and other beautiful winter outfits! I can't wait to SHOP!!! seriously, I should be studying instead of blogging now. but all I can think of right now is googling where the shopping places are located, how far they are from the place I will be staying at and how to get there. train, bus or taxi, whatever it is I MUST GET TO THE SHOPPING PLACES! then maybe a little sight seeing. I'm a little scared of bringing any valuable item since the mugging experience I had a while back, so I am going to just bring a longchamp instead of my other bags. I hope to take LOADS of beautiful pictures there too with both my dlsr and diana. and I'm seriously hoping that there is going to be WIFI in the room so I can blog more while I'm there. I'm just so excited and I'm mumbling everything here. Maybe instead of mumbling, I should do something useful like make a list of what to buy before I leave.

to revive or not to revive?

Honestly, I really don't have anything interesting to blog anymore.
That sounds really boring, but really, I guess I just can't be bothered nor can i find the time to actually pour all my thoughts and rant like I used to. Sometime there are just so much more to express that is overwhelming.

but for now, I shall be boring and tell you that I would probably blog (if I decide to keep this alive) more when I'm done with exams. Now I just feel guilty for even posting this.

With all the things to be done everyday, I really do think my Tumblr is the only blogging platform that is maintainable due to the short-post, simple, fast and randomness of it.
But I did try to fully blog there before (click to read). I have to say, I didn't quite like it. It's so annoying to have to resize the pictures myself in order to fit the layout.

ok, off to nerd on marketing law. omg, I have to many things to look forward to after exam to even concentrate on actually studying for the exam!

i have no idea how i can ever be homesick when I'm so used to be here.
but i feel like going home. just for a while.

as much as i complain about my sister disturbing me in indo, i actually like her company sometime. i hate feeling like im the only child.
